About Betsy

For over 10 years, Betsy has been a Reiki practitioner for both adults and children struggling with anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, grief, the side effects of cancer treatment and more. A mother of two, and former preschool teacher, her passion is to empower adults and children by teaching them self-care and how to connect to the healing energy of Reiki to help calm the mind, keep the immune system strong and induce a palpable feeling of physical and emotional well-being.

In addition, through the study and application of Jin Shin TARA, Betsy has seen profound results, incorporating this technique in her treatments. Betsy is a Certified Foundations Level TARA Approach Practitioner.

Betsy, certified in both Usui and Karuna Reiki®, has been a Reiki Master Teacher since 2002 and is currently practicing out of two locations in Northbrook, Illinois. She is also a Professional Member of the International Center for Reiki Training’s Reiki Membership Association.
